Focus and Scope

FOCUS

The focus of this journal is an effort to load scientific works related to thoughts or studies in the field of Islamic law and actualize and add to the treasure of a better understanding of Islamic Civil law through the publication of articles and research reports.

SCOPE

Berasan : Islamic Civil Law Journal encompasses a broad range of research topics in Islamic law: Islamic Family Law, Islamic Civil Law, Legal Assistence in Islam, Religious Courts, Religious Courts Procedural Law, Islamic Civil Administration, Islamic Inheritance Law, Islam and Gender Discourse, Legal Drafting of Islamic Civil Law

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Berasan : Islamic Civil Law Journal is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "Double Blind Review". Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary.

 

Publication Frequency

Berasan : Islamic Civil Law Journal publishes twice a year. Each issue number (issue) amounts to a minimum of five (5) the title.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Plagiarism Check

Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed 20% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Berasan Editorial Board using Turnitin Similarity Check (powered by Turnitin)

Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to Berasan : Journal of Islamic Civil Law will not have any Article Processing Charge.
